3rd BBNJ Symposium
Executive Coordination of an International Meeting on the Future of the Oceans

BiLi Eventos was responsible for the Executive Secretariat of the 3rd BBNJ Symposium – Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction – held from April 10th to 12th, 2026, at the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro, at the invitation of the National Institute for Oceanographic Research (INPO).

Bringing together approximately 700 participants – both in person and remotely – the event connected scientists, researchers, government representatives, civil society, and international organizations around a central theme for the global agenda: the implementation of the High Seas Treaty (BBNJ), focused on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity in areas beyond national jurisdictions.

More than a scientific meeting, the symposium marked a strategic moment of international articulation, requiring a highly coordinated, precise, and integrated operation.

BiLi Eventos provided complete executive coordination for the project, focusing on operational efficiency, institutional alignment, and excellence in the participant experience.

Highlights of the deliverables::
- Planning and adapting the program to the specific needs of the Museum of Tomorrow
- Mapping, contracting, and managing suppliers
- Development and application of the event's visual identity
- Structuring of accreditation and participant flow
- Coordination of hospitality and accommodation
